- DYNAMIC DESCALER is a new technology, safe to use acidic cleaner and degreaser formulated to rapidly clean mineral scale from water passages in water-cooled or heated equipment. Solution is fortified with powerful low foaming wetting and penetrating agents, safe degreasing solvents and superior corrosion inhibitors to prevent corrosion of the steel, brass or copper surfaces being cleaned.
- The solution is safe to use and non-injurious to personnel when used as directed. Does NOT contain toxic cresols or other tar oils that may require spill loss or disposal reporting.
- The solution is safe to use on steel, iron, brass, copper, plastic, rubber, and other materials found in most water cooled, heated, or operated equipment.
- Do not use concentrated on stainless steel or aluminum or aluminum heat exchange surfaces. These metals will oxidize and possibly discolor. Use material diluted on these surfaces.
- The solution has the ability to dissolve approximately three pounds (1.5 kilograms) of calcium carbonate scale per US gallon at ambient temperature in concentrated form.
- The solution is of pleasant odor and does not exude any obnoxious or unpleasant vapors when dissolving water scale, lime and rust deposits.
- The solution has a Specific Gravity of 1.06
- The solution has a vaporization temperature of 104 degrees C.
- The solution does NOT have an Open or Closed Cup Flash Point.
- DYNAMIC DESCALER is an electrolyte, as are most cleaning agents and will transfer small electrical currents. This may cause plating in some types of equipment. This means a transfer of small amounts of one metal onto another metal. In some instances a thin coating of copper may be plated onto a steel drum while circulating an electrolyte such as DYNAMIC DESCALER. The only time plating occurs is when two different metals are in an electrolytic solution.
- Some alloys of stainless steel are known to discolor and also react galvanically in concentrated solutions. To minimize simply use a diluted solution of DYNAMIC DESCALER.
- The solution does not corrode, erode, attack, pit, oxidize nor have other deleterious affects on metals or materials such as copper, chrome, fiber, steel, leather, rubber, iron or lead or other materials or metals found in boilers, pipes, valves, pumps, strainers, radiators, convectors, unit heaters, heat exchangers, engines, evaporators, turbines, condensers and/or other water heated, water cooled, or water operated equipment when used as directed.
- The solution has the ability to dissolve deposits from some equipment while in operation and without shutdown, if auxiliary coolers are incorporated.
- The solution is used at room temperature with full results obtainable. Heating is not required.
- It is recommended to dilute the solution 50% or more when cleaning chrome to avoid possible discoloration on some chrome materials.
- The solution does not develop a substantial increase in temperature while dissolving water scale, lime and rust deposits.
- DYNAMIC DESCALER is pre-mixed in total solution does not require any pre-mixing prior to use.
- The concentrated solution may be held safely in the open hand, without deleterious affects.
- The solution does not freeze, slush or thicken at any temperature above minus 17 degrees C.
- The solution is not recommended for use above 82 degrees C.
- The solution does not deteriorate, oxidize, saponify, thicken or lose effectiveness for at least five years if kept in original containers and sealed.
- The solution normally does not require neutralizers, as it is free rinsing with water and self-neutralizing when used. Dissolved water scale residues are normally sewered with lots of water. Check with local sewer authority for proper disposal of the nontoxic, mildly acidic waste and if additional neutralization action is required. This cleaner is mildly acidic after use and contains only nontoxic salts after being used to remove potable water scale residues. If you are using city or potable water only, the spent solution can be sewered. If you are using corrosion inhibitors in your cooling system, check the material safety data sheet of your local water treatment chemicals for proper disposal instructions.
- The foregoing specifications are applicable to our product DYNAMIC DESCALER also called DYNAMIC DESCALER when used accordingly to instructions available upon request and in NO WAY are intended to cover other uses or applications by the purchaser or user.
- Do not circulate the material for more than a four-hour period without consulting the manufacturer. Most cleanings can be accomplished in an average of two hours. Please use material only as directed.
- The solution is biodegradable and can be disposed of through normal sewerage systems.
